A Delft blue tile. Size 13 x 13 cm. Thickness 12 mm. The tile shows a falling angel blowing a trumpet. The corner decorations point to the period around 1650. The tile is in mint condition. Falling angels are popular with collectors.

A heavy seventeenth Century Dutch pewter beaker hallmarked with a rose.


A pewter mug. High 8 cm. Upper diameter 6,5 cm. Diameter bottom 5 cm. Weight 195 gram. Hallmarked on the bottom with a Dutch rose. Found in a seventeenth century excavation site near Delft. In mint condition. Beautiful patina.

Two sixteenth century bronze ladies ornaments.


Two bronze ornaments. Size: bracelet diameter 6,5 cm. Hair decoration diameter 15 cm. This pair of sixteenth century bronze ornaments consists of a round bracelet and a hairdressing ornament with nicely decorated ends. These ornaments were discovered in an ancient excavation location near Delft. They appear to be in mint condition. No damages or repairs. Bronze items of this period and in this condition are very rare indeed.

A toy salt cup. High 3 cm. Upper diameter 4,5 cm. Found in an old excavation site in Delft. Glazed earthenware with nice patina. Probably early 17th century. The cup rests on a stand with three small feet. Mint condition.

Three pewter spoons. Length 18 cm. All three found in an early excavation site in Middelburgh. With attractive patina. One spoon hallmarked with an angel and signed "Hendrick van Duyvelant". And another with a similar angel. All three in perfect undamaged condition.

Two large angels. High 32 cm. Wide 20 cm. In reasonable condition with in places some loss of paint. In front the angels are gilt, on the back ochre yellow. Possibly they belonged to an eighteenth century Dutch tall case clock. The carving is exceptionally delicate and in mint condition.

A small compass signed "H.Morin Paris".


A small compass. Long 10,5 cm. Wide 4 cm. High 1,5 cm. The compass encased in a mahogany box and signed "H.Morin Paris". H.Morin was an instrumentmaker in Paris (3 Rue Bousault, Ateliers H.Morin & Gensse á Paris). The compass is in mint and working condition. It can be locked for transportation with a small brass knob. Paris, late nineteenth century.

A church board. High 85 cm. Wide 54 cm. With above and below the text : " Voorzang, Tusschen en Nazang ".(  Starting hymn, in between hymn and closing hymn ). Also on the back "Pauze Psalm" (Intermission psalm). With a series of eleven loose numbers in black and gold and a board with "GEZ" (Hymn), all to be inserted in the three spaces on the board. The board and letters in good condition. In the province of Zeeland  especially the protestant religion is very prominent.

A painted eighteenth century Dutch ships chest.


A ships chest. Wide 90 cm. High 32 cm. Maximal floor size 38 cm. The flaring shape is typical for a Dutch ships chest. Painted in front with a rural scene featuring a house, a man crossing a bridge and a pond with two swans. The paintwork is in very good condition without restaurations. The chest still has its original key operated lock and the two original hinges. On both front and back the chest is fortified with forged iron decorations. A chest of this quality and conservation is extremely rare. Low Countries around 1750.

A small lacqered box. High 7 cm. Upper and lower surface 5 x 5 cm. Inside a space for a small (perfume ?) bottle. On three sides as well as on the lid decorated with four hand painted classical landscapes. The toolware box is closed with a knob possibly made of cornalin. The paintwork is in mint condition. No damages or repairs. On the bottom a label with "ecole française". France , 18th C.

A large chess piece. High 31 cm. Diameter foot 13,5 cm. The chess piece is a bishop. Made of pinewood with traces of white paint. In good general condition with attractive signs of age. Probably Dutch, mid 19th century.

An 18th C. oak case for pigments marked "Berg Blauw" (Mountain Blue).


An oak box. Size: 35 x 25 x 20 cm. Painted yellow and with the text : "Berg Blauw". Apparently the box was used to store a pigment, also called " Mountain Blue ". With a lid nicely weathered with dark dots. In good general condition with some old repairs. It was used in a Dutch 18th Century pharmacy

An iron 18th C bottle opener.


A bottle opener. Overall length 14 cm. This type of bottle opener, very much resembling a key, was used by placing it next to the cork, and with pushing and pulling thus opening the bottle. This item is larger than usual and in mint condition.
